The One With Kiff's Championship Game

 

 

Kiff was in another Championship Game this year. This one was for his basketball team - the Earthquake. And was it a good game. 

 

Kiff played solid defense and his team was neck-in-neck with the opponents through the first half. During the second half, the opponents pulled away. However, Kiff's team still had life in them. In fact, Kiff made a shot with 8 seconds left to get his team within a point. They quickly got the ball back and had a chance to win at the buzzer....but the shot did not go in.

It was an amazing game and yet another amazing championship game!

The One With Kiff's Box Score

Last Sunday, Kiff played in the championship game for his Grade 3-5 basketball league. It was a fun game and his team ultimately won the championship. Kiff did his best Bruce Bowen as well, limiting the top scorer from the other team to 6 total points....down from 22 the last game.

The One With The Championship

Bri had an amazing week last week. Her team was in the playoffs.

And what a run it was.

Her first game was on Wednesday. Her team won that game 20-5, moving onto the championship game. Bri got two hits in the game and made a put out. She also played a mean catcher.

In the championship game, Bri played catcher again. She got a walk and made solid plays in the field and behind the plate.

But the nice part was, her team won the championship!!!

Bri became the first "champion" in our family unit.
