We created this site to make an online writer's notebook to capture the memories, interests, and interesting events in our families life. We hope to publish it regularly and use it as a evolving piece of history - a historical artifact if you will - that our family can enjoy for generations to come. So follow our adventures as our small happy family enjoys life

The One With Ice Cream for Breakfast
Today, Bri, Kiff, and I went to our fifth (or sixth, or seventh) Ice Cream for Breakfast event at Cherry Hill. It is always amazing and always fun. And it is always a fundraiser that makes money for a great cause.
Kiff: got an donut sundae that, as usual, he could not finish
Bri: got cinnabon thay, as usual, she could not finish
Emmie: got coffee donut
Me: maple bacon with real bacon bits....yum!
And we definitely saw some familiar faces.
We've learned from the past to get there a little early. Like last year, we left around 7:40. The line was a lot bigger this year because they removed the whole "snake wind" from the line. We were behind the building when we lined up...and it was probably 50 people deep. So - note to self - get there earlier next year because I believe they actually opened before 8:00.
Fortunately, it was not as cold as previous years, which is great! There had been a light dusting of snow on the ground, so there was a chill in the air...but it was about 33° or 34°F.
