Yesterday was a sad day. After several months of putting up a valiant fight after falling four times in June, Dad number 2 passed from this world to the next.
Dad number 2 was an amazing man. I have so many fu
nny memories of him, whether it was going down the hills on the airline in Canada, to his favorite stop at the Irving gas station there, to his search for a remote control on one Christmas Day years ago. And, who could ever forget his eyes light up at a favorite meal.
He moved to Putnam Farms this September, but never really got a chance to enjoy his new home. However, we know he was looking forward to his home in the hereafter, where he will be reunited with Mom 2 (whom he missed).
Thanks for all of the memories Dad 2. We know you are still with us in so many ways. We love you.
And bonus...check out the yearbook blurb we found online for him. It was the 1960s yearbook at Wakefueld High!!! He had a lot of those dreams come true....including work on a very famous, hard to detect plane.
