It is hard to believe it, but twenty years ago today, the 9/11 attacks happened. It still is etched in my mind.

We created this site to make an online writer's notebook to capture the memories, interests, and interesting events in our families life. We hope to publish it regularly and use it as a evolving piece of history - a historical artifact if you will - that our family can enjoy for generations to come. So follow our adventures as our small happy family enjoys life

Yesterday - September 5 2021, at 11 AM, Bri began her high school athletic career. She is a member of the JV field hockey team at the high school and played her first game...of course, the 11 AM time was reporting time for players to get ready.
Of course, the game actually started a little before the 12 PM start time because the officials were worried about rain. So, Emmie, Kiff, and I missed the first quarter of the game.
However, what we saw was pretty good. Bri was actually in for most of the game on defense and she made some great plays. And she had one excellent popup.
It's been a little while since we had the chance to catch back up with this online blog. Sorry about that. Things have been wild.
But, tonight we saw Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. It was great. I wasn't too sure what to expect, but the story actually didn't disappoint. Awkwafina had a solid role in it that didn't rely on comedy....it was great to see that. They brought back Ben Kingsley's character from Iron Man 3, which was awesome, too. And, the characters were great.
There were great Easter eggs at the end....which alluded to a lot. This one is definitely a movie all Marvel fans should see.
